What the domain check tests
Thirteen checks in one run, grouped into four areas with their own score from 0 to 100. The overall score weights the areas so one problem does not drown out everything else.
Website
Certificate valid and matching, http and www redirect cleanly, security headers set.
Mail servers reachable, SPF, DKIM and DMARC present and plausible, transport encryption enforced and reported.
DNS
Records resolvable at the authoritative name server, DNSSEC signature chain intact.
Domain
Registration with expiry date and hold status, website and mail IPs on no blacklist.
